Joining Requirements

MEMBERSHIP JOINING REQUIREMENTS

Golf Tournaments are played most usually on Mondays, in the months of August through June.

Additional Travel Tournaments consist of 3 to 5 day and overnight trips to golf resorts, which may include hotel, meals, golf and other amenities. Guests may be invited based on space available. 



  • Sponsored by a member in good standing.
  • Play one round as a candidate with an assigned member & be approved by the Board of Directors.
  • Be a continuing member of an 18 hole private or public golf club that maintains SCGA Indexes in Orange County (or a contiguous county)
  • Proposal age of 49 – Joining age of 50.
  • Complete a Proposal for membership by the sponsor and proposed member.
  • After playing one evaluation/orientation round and securing the approval of the Board of Directors; pay prorated annual dues.

Membership Maintenance Requirements

  • Pay annual dues of $250 from July to June.

The year 2016 marked the 50th Anniversary of the Orange County Seniors Golf Association, or OCSGA, an affiliate member club for seniors in the OC comprised of men from 23 private country clubs around the county. They all share one common interest – experiencing new courses and meeting new friends.

We have one tournament each month during the year. Nine of them are on local courses in Orange County, CA. We also have 3 away tournaments played throughout the United States.
